Beaches, beaches, beaches… however you like them (sandy ones, pebbly cove ones, resort ones, secluded ones) the Riviera del Conero is blessed with enough gorgeous spots to keep passing beach buffs happy for many a day. Grab a spot at Porto Recanati's Paradise Vacanze Camping Village for easy access to beaches and beyond. Those with bambini to amuse may well prefer to spend much of their time trotting back and forth to the nearest free beach, a 10-minute stroll away on a quiet path, while more active types can break away from the beach to hike, pedal or ride horses through the hills of the Conero Regional Natural Park. It’s a similar mix of relaxing and busier times on site – settle in by the pool for a day of sunbathing, swims and hot tub bubbles, or get up and at it by hitting the fitness trail or joining games of basketball, football and volleyball. Indoor and outdoor games and kids’ activities provide other options to keep family members amused. Refreshments are easily sorted here too – drinks are available all day at the bar, and the restaurant opens its doors for all three meal times and a takeaway service. A supermarket is 10 minutes’ walk away for guests who fancy cheffing at the barbecue area, or there are plenty of restaurants in the main resort.

Liked: Il camping è piccolo ma comodo alla spiaggia con una bella passeggiata di 15min. Le piazzole ampie, i bagni piuttosto datati ma discretamente puliti e il personale cortese e disponibile. Carine anche le aree per i giochi dei bambini.
Buono il rapporto tra servizi e prezzo del soggiorno. Credo tornerò il prox anno.

Disliked: Un po' troppo rumorose le piazzole sul lato sx appena si entra e fino in fondo al camping perché la strada è vicina e trafficata anche la notte oltre il rumore della ferrovia. Tuttavia dopo le prime due notti mi sono abituata.

Liked: Siamo stati al camping per una settimana, posto davvero grazioso, immerso nel verde e pulito, piscina ben servita e idromassaggio... Abbiamo affittato due biciclette per poterci muovere più liberamente e arrivare al mare, sul sentiero pedonale e ciclabile. Ci siamo trovati benissimo, lo consiglio soprattutto a chi come me ha bimbi piccoli, c'è animazione per loro, parco giochi e tanto verde in cui correre. CONSIGLIATO!

Liked: -swimming pool was the biggest we’ve been too and there was a lifeguard on duty
-staff were really friendly and happy to help
-pitches were a really decent size and felt very cosy
- I really liked the dog park
-very dog friendly!

Disliked: -the toilets were very outdated, no toilet paper or soap. I appreciate different cultures use different methods but with your campsite having a lot of tourists we would’ve appreciated some toilet roll and more sanitary systems.
-WiFi does no extend to pitches
-midge central but not the campsites fault 🫶🏻
-restaurant had limited food options

Local attractions

All down this stretch of the Adriatic coast are some gorgeous beaches, many with sheltered waters for safe swimming and splashing. If you’ve not got your own wheels (or would prefer to let someone else do the work) a shuttle runs from the site to some of the fave spots. Mezzavalle, Portonovo and the locals’ fave Urbani beach can all be accessed with a drive and a little walk. For something more secluded, head to Numana to board a boat to the Due Sorelle beach. Should you fancy stretching your legs a little more it’s a half-hour drive to the Conero Regional Natural Park for walks, bike rides or horse rides on the 18 waymarked paths that cross the pine forests, oak woods and lavender fields. Lots of them pass by or finish at little beaches where you can cool those weary feet. Half an hour away by car, Ancona is a good place for a day out, exploring the Roman and Renaissance sites, visiting the archeology museum and people watching from a piazza-side café.
