Liked: It was a lovely big site that had everything you need for camping and more, like a kitchen for the use of campers. The pitches were more private than we expected using hedges to separate them. There were great links into Musselburgh and to Edinburgh by train or bus. We hope to be back soon.
Disliked: No dislikes for us I'm pleased to say.

Liked: A real gem of a site! Helpful, friendly wardens showed us to our lovely pitch. Clean, modern toilet blocks. Short walk to the bus stop into Edinburgh. Buses every 10 mins to the centre. We also cycled into Musselburgh along the cycle path by the sea.
Disliked: Washing up outside might not be quite as appealing in the rain.

Liked: Clean site, dog walk path around site, close to coastal path for nice walk, clean bathrooms & nice showers
Disliked: Not ideal for solo travellers with dogs.. “dog friendly” site but dogs not allowed in bathrooms so had to put my car on and leave it at pitch with AC on and my dog in it when needed bathroom. Would stay again but not during hot weather as didn’t like having my dog in a hot car.
Was initially told by staff member when checking in that dogs would be fine in toilets and there’s even some larger stalls for more room however big signs on amenities blocks say otherwise.

Liked: The site was beautiful and well kept, the toilet blocks were very clean and modern and I liked the music in the toilet block, it saved people’s embarrassment 🤣
Disliked: As a disabled traveller, it needed a disabled shower, there was no handle to step down into the floor of the shower. Although there was a small table to put your bag. There was no chair to sit on. I can’t bed down, and the only place to put all your shampoo Ect is on the floor. The electric hook up was very stiff I needed help to do it and then pulling it out almost took the front off the box completely. It’s half off.

Liked: Facility was beautifully landscaped, neat and tidy, campsites well spaced so it didn’t feel crowded. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean and in very nice condition. The hosts were welcoming and helped with any problems we had. Would highly recommend to anyone. There’s a playground for children, a small kitchen for anyone, a few dishes sinks, laundry facilities, and the usual.
