喜欢: Well placed nice walk to town,had dinner in Dalton pub nice food not badly priced beer a bit expensive
不喜欢: Toilets a bit small knees against door when closed.A lot of noise with people playing loud music till all hours,3 tents together talking loud till all hours not sites fault

喜欢: Lovely little site right on the canal
Loved that we could have a fire as many places now don’t allow fires
Friendly
不喜欢: Toilets are quite small and no washing up facilities as there is no hot water on site but I knew this when I booked and it did not stop us from enjoying our stay :)

喜欢: Location
不喜欢: Noisy as groups staying together playing loud music late on, shouting and swearing. Campsite rules not being applied as dogs including some large intimidating ones off lead and owner constantly unaware of their whereabouts. No toilet roll on last evening/morning in gents or ladies.

喜欢: Absolutely loved this campsite. It was our first time here and we will definitely be back.. the lake is fab for paddle boards and kayaks kids loved it!
不喜欢: The only downfall I’d say is the no one asking up station. It just makes it abit tricky

喜欢: The size of the field and how much space everyone actually had between tents and campers ect how it was all set up was pretty smooth running not far from everything little club down the road plenty to do off site but if your after a relaxing weekend with the full family I can recommend 17 of us went and all drive away with smiles after 4 day weekend we shall be back!!
不喜欢: Toilet block wasn’t really accessible but okay needed to be attended more

喜欢: 2nd time here and will be going again. My 1 year olds first time camping and he loved it. Loads of space to run round, canal to splash his feet in and shops within 5 minutes drive. Great host, comes to check that everything is alright and great knowledge of the area. Amazing value for money

喜欢: The scenery was beautiful, staff were lovely and helpful, nice and clean pitch with clean and tidy toilet/shower area. Nice and cheap too.
不喜欢: Only downside was the other guests awake talking/shouting and playing music until 3am, myself and my three children had 3 hours sleep that night which didn’t make for a very pleasant trip toward the end.

喜欢: Quiet canalside location and very helpful owner who was kindly lent me a hose attachment (mine went missing). No children with me and did not try the WiFi, so unable to score those. This site was perfect for my needs, as a one night stopover close to the M6.
不喜欢: Toilets little small and did not chance the shower as other reviews have said it was cold water only.
