Ever wanted to pitch up near Paignton, or better yet, in a spot which has sea views and sits a few minutes' walk away from a long sandy beach? Behold Beverley Park, a site with spectacular scenery less than a mile from the rockpools of the sandy Broadsands beach. When it comes to relaxation, you might want to start at one of the park's two heated outdoor pools, then read the papers at the poolside café. Another option is to visit the sauna, steam room and hot tub, and then have steak or fish and chips (or both) along with a cocktail or a glass of wine (or both) at the Jetty Bar and Terrace. If you feel more energetic and ambitious, get crazily competitive at crazy golf or fit in a workout at the gym. There are plenty of family-friendly facilities at Beverley Park including outdoor adventure playgrounds, kids' clubs, paddling pools, soft play, family amusements and an indoor playroom. The daytime activity programme also has a variety of activities like water zorbing and beach rambles. More? There is also the Catch takeaway and Starlight bar for refreshments and a shop for those who decide to self-cater. Family bathrooms are also among the facilities.

Gostou: The site was clean and friendly.
The pizza from the restaurant were really good just how I like them. Everything was how a holiday park should be. Facilities 10/10 everything provided clean and warm and washing area same.

Não gostou: Didn't get a chance to go in the pool.
I got pitched up near to the road and I think there were some spaces vacant with an amazing view.

Gostou: The staff were friendly and efficient. The facilities were spotless, and the food in the restaurant reasonably priced and well presented. It just had a great vibe: lots of young families and older couples. One of the best places we've stayed during our tour of the UK.

Gostou: Nice site clean modern toilets all very good. Pool area fab. The saltwater bar was brilliant for my grandson (7 yrs old) Table football, shuffleboard and darts all free to use. Nice play area.

Não gostou: Not a lot for the children to do when raining… no indoor activities. Bar didn’t open until 6.30 and smaller bar not until 4.30 so if the weather was bad there was no where to go…

I'm sorry to hear that you found there wasn't much to do when it was raining. During the main season, we do offer daytime activities including Make a Bear, Sand Art, Pottery Painting and Circus Skills which are all indoors in our Starlight bar. We also have a soft play - although I appreciate this may be a little small for your grandson! We will certainly take your comments on board as we strive to improve the experience for all our guests and plan for future seasons.

Gostou: Recently refreshed toilet and shower facilities were very good. Pitch was reasonable size.

Não gostou: Not the most accurately described site on Pitch Up, wording like ‘family-run’ and ‘relaxation’ conjures up images that do not fit with what is a huge holiday camp of a site.
Tourers are also second class citizens at Beverley Park, DO NOT make the mistake we (and every van that entered the afternoon we arrived did) of following the directions and committing to turn left into the car park to check in!!
The parks own staff seem happy to abandon their liveried site vans and vehicles in the bays required by tourers to get in and out smoothly, meaning you turn into a dead end of a car park and are immediately in a ‘sticky situation’!
Not how you want to feel 30 seconds after landing on site.
This was not a one-off, the fleet remained there throughout our stay.
Huge site, lots of vans, lots of people, all the facilities of a holiday camp, and at the high end of pricing because of it.
Multiple signs, posters and even fliers handed to us, advertising the ‘Trade-In your tourer’ scheme against a static van or lodge at Beverley Park.
No, sorry not for us, we will not be back.

As you visited during an especially busy Easter weekend, I’m sorry to hear that your arrival experience wasn’t up to the standard we aim for and that you encountered issues in the car park. I completely understand how frustrating that must have been. I’ve passed your feedback about signage and staff vehicle placement to the relevant teams so we can make improvements going forward.

We are a family-run park, and we understand how important holiday time is so a relaxing environment is what we aim for, whilst guests make the most of our beautiful sea views and wide range of facilities. We love welcoming touring guests and also like to share the option of upgrading to a holiday home for more frequent breaks. That said, we completely respect that many tourers are passionate about their setups, and I’m sorry if this felt overwhelming— we’ll definitely take your comments on board.

I’m sorry to hear that you wouldn’t consider returning, but I hope you might reconsider in the future as we’re always working to make the experience better for every guest.

Gostou: A wonderful break away, friendly, clean and safe. Everything felt relaxed. A nice sized pitch and good mix between entertainment and time outdoors in the open spaces.

Não gostou: A small indoor pool, so it was a shame the outdoor pool wasn’t open, but it was still great value for money!

Beverley Park is within easy driving distance of Devon days out and activities for all weathers, whether you want to browse around award-winning attractions, dive into beach days and watersports or delve into the options of Dartmoor National Park. Kids can plead for days at Paignton Zoo Environmental Park just over a mile from Beverley Park, Living Coasts within four or Pennywell Farm at Buckfastleigh nine miles away. If history's more their thing (ha), they can try trips to the likes of Babbacombe Model Village and the Victorian street and model railway of Bygones history museum, both at Torquay. The park is close to the tiptop Devon towns of Torquay, Brixham, Torbay and Totnes; Dartmouth (ships! castle!) is about eight miles away for a day out then a Dartmouth Steam Railway trip puffing gently back to Paignton. Go underground for some time among the prehistoric and cavernous caves of Torquay's award-winning Kents Cavern, first discovered in the 16th century and the inspiration for local resident Agatha Christie's tome The Man in the Brown Suit back in 1924.

As unidades não devem ser deixados desocupados, a menos que previamente acordado com a gerência. Entre em contato com a recepção quando surgir a necessidade. Poderão ser cobradas taxas para as unidades sem supervisão.
É necessário um cabo com pelo menos 15 metros para utilizar a ligação elétrica.
Observe que as barracas auxiliares só podem ser utilizadas para armazenamento. Os hóspedes não podem utilizá-las para dormir.

Ocupação

Não são permitidas festas de despedida de solteiro via Pitchup.com
Não serão aceitas reservas para grupos do mesmo sexo com 3 pessoas mais de (excluindo casais) via Pitchup.com.

Piscina

A piscina externa está aberta entre 03/05 e 17/09 (datas sujeitas às condições do tempo).
A piscina interna está aberta entre 12/02 e 31/12
Somente hóspedes estão autorizados a utilizar a piscina.

Segurança

Churrascos são permitidos, mas devem ser feitos acima no nível do chão e devem ser supervisionados por adultos durante todo o tempo.

Veículos

Apenas um carro pode ser estacionado ao lado da unidade. Outros carros devem ser estacionados na área designada.
Veículos comerciais (usados para o transporte de mercadorias ou de passageiros pagando tarifa) e veículos com promoção visual não são permitidos no local.
