Mi è piaciuto: Selwyn was very friendly and welcoming on arrival. Nothing was too much trouble, nice hot showers, we enjoyed lighting the fire pit, having bbqs and felt safe on site

Non mi è piaciuto: No quiet hour rules and some campers were a bit noisy later than we’d like as a family with younger children

Mi è piaciuto: The location, as the campsite was close to beautiful beaches and Tenby. The owner was very friendly and greeted us upon arrival. He also suggested places to see which was lovely.
Non mi è piaciuto: Only two showers for the whole campsite. There were queues in the mornings of people waiting for the toilets and showers. At the time of our stay there were probably around 8 families, hence the number of showers was not really enough. There were no toilet rolls when we arrived. Toilets could do with some renovating and deep clean, but the price of our stay was good so I guess we can't complain.

Good location for Pembroke tourist spots.
Non mi è piaciuto: The facilities are basic but that’s as advertised. I wouldn’t mark the site down for not having WiFi, for example, as it doesn’t say it’s provided.

Mi è piaciuto: Lovely campsite, 15 min drive from Tenby , Selwyn the owner was very welcoming came to see us as soon as we arrived showed us where the bathroom facilities were and where the local pub was , we had to leave a day early due to personal reasons and he even offered us a refund! We will be returning!

Mi è piaciuto: Everything.
From arrival it was clear that Selwyn the site owner couldn't do enough for us.
With multiple pitches available we were offered our pick. No worry if EHU wasn't quite within reach, he would make it available if needed.
The fields had games nets and goals available for kids to use.
Toilet block was clean with hot and well powered showers.
We were made aware of WiFi availability but didn't use it.
Being within 5 miles of Carew Castle, Carew airfield (market and car boot sale on Sunday) and Pembroke Dock retail, there is plenty to do and see. Within 15 mins of Oakwood park, Heatherton and other such facilities is really is a gem of a spot that's central to anything you might want or need

There is nothing I dislike about this site.
If I absolutely HAD to choose something ...
A shelf for your showering products next to the shower controls (within arms reach) would be useful.

Mi è piaciuto: The location was handy for local attractions. Not that far from Pembroke dock for the supermarkets, mcdonalds & KFC.
Non mi è piaciuto: Only 1 toilet on its own. 2 showers with a toilet in with them, all unisex. None of them were clean and showers ran cold after a few minutes. Kids were noisy until about 10pm each night. Wifi didn't always work either.

Dal gestore: We’re disappointed to read this review, especially given the circumstances of your stay. You were asked to leave after multiple guests complained about your behaviour, which fell far below the respectful and friendly standards we expect on our site.
Regarding your claims and photos, several guests informed us they were staged to misrepresent our facilities. With a 9.3 customer rating, your score of 2 is clearly a reaction to being asked to leave, rather than an honest reflection of our site. Pembrokeshire is a beautiful and welcoming destination, but behaviour like yours is not in keeping with the standards of this wonderful county or the kind of visitors we are proud to host.
We will continue to prioritise the experience of respectful and considerate guests, and we are confident our future visitors will appreciate the environment we work hard to provide.
