Mi è piaciuto: Lovely place with great showers and toilets

Non mi è piaciuto: WiFi , paid £8 supposed to be super fast , only problem is where our pitch was there just wasn't a signal , contacted the person in charge of the WiFi and apparently going to refund me what I paid , if anything he needs more WiFi posts around the site , as we saw 3 but all pointing the opposite direction, plus we couldn't even pick up a signal for the TV

Site felt relaxed.
Spacious pitches.
Really nice toilet block, space to wash the children and clean showers.
Plenty of facilities.
On site bar with great prices.
Canal walk for the dogs, a large field is a few minutes away on the canal for running the dogs.
Good play area.
Will return.
Good WiFi, paid £8 for 3 days for 5 devices and it was good enough to stream TV.

Mi è piaciuto: Everything, excellent toilet and shower block. Well stocked bar facility. Great games room. Campsite very clean . Nice play area for children and bouncy castle on the weekend we stayed. All staff are very helpful and friendly. Excellent sized pitches. Beautiful location for walking

Non mi è piaciuto: Smell of cannabis in reception, staff tried to overcharge me, told me to find my Own pitch and as with friends park on there pitches to stop others taking it, I did this and was met with a shower of abuse by someone else who wanted those pitches and reconded he'd reserved them then started being aggressive in front of my 2 year old. I hitched back up and was ready to leave as tbh the main field seemed a bit rough with traveller style vans around and pitched very close together. We found field b which seemed a bit quieter but felt like the storage yard overflow area but there were the amount of pitches we needed so thought let's try it. All riverside pitches were already full with seasonal vans and as the day went on the already small pitches got overtook by several Units on each pitch even pitched right next to the elsan point. Kids riding at you whilst on way to toilet or fill water, kids being drove round the site behind a car in a trailer with no regard for safety. Constant power cuts due to people using air fryers but even though I explained I'd put everything over to gas instead of 240v we got told to stop overloading the electric. If a factory fit caravan battery charger is tripping. It you got big problems. Loos were blocked on last day, you are asked to take anything other than food waste home, kids playground was very tired and broken, blow up football goal got took over by yobs and ended up with a caravan window getting broken, boats in marina look abandoned elsan point is just loose manhole cover over a sespit so could easily be a trap for a curious child. Unedited Eminem songs being played in the toilets for kids to hear wasn't really appropriate. Wifi signal was useless. Road noise was quite bad but you can get that anywhere. Certainly a site I won't be visiting again Im afraid. It has the potential to be a really Nice high end site so it's sad to see.

Dal gestore: Thank you for such a lovely review I would of quite happily refunded your money instantly an filled the pitches you begrudgingly accepted for the weekend the people you are referencing were quite happy with there pitches as the chose them just like you did no complaints an all had amazing weekend the only music playing in the shower / toilet block is the radio I don't have any control over the playlist if you didn't like field B there were plenty of other spots for you to go The charging of the mobility scooter was what was blowing the electric we could of plugged it into the mains when you were made aware it was blowing the fuses it does not say anywhere on our booking form that all rubbish needs to be taken home it says any large items are not to be left here as you must be aware we are not on the mains sewage we have septic tanks it was a bank holiday so the tanks were emptied a little later than usual its not something that happens often the other lady you are referencing on 22 is a new seasonal customer so was also quite happy with her pitch for the evening an has since moved across into her permanent spot so not sure you can judge other peoples experiences by your own views have you ever heard the saying if you haven't anything nice to say then don't bother to say it I'm not sure there are many children that will be playing with the man hole cover an it is actually quite a weight sorry you had such a rough time of it but I didn't force you into staying

Mi è piaciuto: Activities for the kids with it being bank holiday. Very clean and the bins were emptied regularly. Clean and hot showers with slip mats.
Great value bar and takeaway on site. Very friendly and helpful staff.
10 minute drive to any amenities needed.

Non mi è piaciuto: The noise at night time when you try and get children to sleep with people shutting late at night and you can hear road noise WiFi you will have to pay for, but if you are there a couple of days it’s not bad value.

Mi è piaciuto: Great site with lovely clean toilets and showers. Pitches back onto a small river and plenty of space for the kids to play. Really nice friendly site
