A handy site for the ferry and the A67 but one night is enough.

Electric optional grass pitch
Liked: Easy to get to from the ferry. Facilities were clean.
Disliked: Pitches are very tight, and trees make manoevering a bit tricky. Shop was a poor excuse and very expensive.
Two thirds of the site was closed off so felt very crowded.

Liked: The fact that there are no dogs accepted, the site has been renovated to make turning easier.
Disliked: No choice as to where we park, pitches are far too close together. Toilet facilities are very dated.
Very expensive for an overnight stay.

Liked: Facilities were good. Showers were very hot and worked with a normal tap, not a timed button, so stayed on for as long as you wanted! Receptionist was friendly and helpful. 300 metres to a little beach or a 15 minute drive to El Sardinero which is a lovely beach/area. Definitely worth a stop off if in the area.
Disliked: Didn’t bother us, but the pitches are VERY close to each other.

Electric optional grass pitch
Liked: Good location near Santander port.
Disliked: Narrow pitch. Difficult to manoeuvre onto pitch due to trees and a pillar in the middle of the road. No info given by receptionist, who was absent most of the time.

Wouldn’t stay again, even though ideal for the ferry, not worth it!

Electric optional grass pitch
Liked: Proximity to the Santander port.
Ability to check in late.
Disliked: Pitches - small and due to the rain were waterlogged. Only space on paving slabs for the wheels to drive onto the pitch so had to stand in the mud to get in and out of the van. Far from ideal!
Smell - the smell of manure was over powering.
Bathrooms - poorly sign posted and no evidence of a cleaner.

Great for a short stay & transit but the pitches mitigate a long stay

Electric optional grass pitch
Liked: Nicely kept site with helpful owners . Toilets and facilities were well maintained and the site was generally well
Maintained. There was a restaurant & shop on site and the bus to Santander was a 15 Min walk and the sea and beach 5 mins
Disliked: The pitches are incredibly narrow. We opened to the door to our motorhome and were literally walking in to our neighbours van

Electric optional grass pitch
Liked: Where it was near the sea
Disliked: Everywhere wet and soggy and people getting bogged down. They have tried putting paving stones down for the wheels to tool on but the trees they have planted are too near to the turning points for the vehicles to get on the road so you have to drive on the soggy grass. The owner is my very sociable either
