To the seaside! And in a wildlife haven and near a theme park, no less… countryside and seaside family stays are sorted here. Big and family-friendly Camping Classe Village is at the seaside resort of Lido di Dante on the Adriatic coast, about six kilometres from Ravenna and eight from Mirabilandia amusement park. It's also in a wildlife haven, in the protected Foce Bevano nature area which has over three kilometres of beach partly made up of the Pinewood of Classe. The park covers about ten hectares of peaceful and shady land, with loads of room on site to run around or lounge about. The beach is 200 metres away, reached through the pine forest. Facilities include three pools, a supermarket bazaar selling fresh fruit and veg, a restaurant-pizzeria and bar, a games arcade, bowling, tennis, beach volleyball, table tennis and bike rental. A bus connecting to Ravenna is nearby. Among the amenities are showers with free hot water, disabled-accessible toilets, a parent and baby washroom and a launderette. A tobacconist is close to the site.

Local attractions

The family-friendly beaches, seafood restaurants, bars, shops and clubs of lively Marina di Ravenna are all near the site, surrounded by a handsome pine forest. And then on to Ravenna itself, once capital of the Western Roman and then the Byzantine empires, and now a busy town with ancient piazzas and palaces as well as plenty of restaurants, shops and bars. One of Italy's most famed classical music events, the Ravenna Festival, is held here each summer. There’s loads to see around this spectacular capital city: if you're into mosaics and old churches, Ravenna has eight early Christian monuments named as UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and the Basilica of San Vitale has the biggest and best preserved Byzantine mosaics in the world outside of Constantinople. Bologna and San Marino are both about an hour and a half's drive away.

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.

Hired accommodation
