Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked: Relatively quiet site. Families staying without it being too busy.
The goats and chickens were great to have a look at too.
Basic toilet and shower not too far away from the pitches. Lovely views.
Disliked: The road up to the site was very steep and bendy, not ideal if you’re a nervous driver.
The site itself isn’t flat but we were pitched at the top which was fine. It’s extremely breezy!
The showers are part of the bathroom (toilets) rather than an actual shower block meaning that the floors weren’t clean when you step out the shower as people are in and out all the time. Only a minor niggle.
The washing up area could do with being a double sink rather than a small single sink.

Liked: Great Campsite with amazing hosts. Geoff and Karen were so welcoming and accommodating from the beginning and made us feel right at home. Geoff helped us on multiple occasions and went above and beyond. He dug out some wedges to wedge up our van (which was his suggestion). He also gave us some great tips on what pub to walk to. Facilities are great and the views are fantastic. Thanks you :)

Liked: Everything the welcome, the views and the closeness to the major attractions. I love this site and it's only my first but not the last visitor here. I didn't want to write a positive review I want this to myself.
Disliked: The roads. I can understand why no caravans I'm in a campervan and the roads can be entertaining I had to turn the music off and I'm a Police Driver 🤣.

Liked: It was extremely peaceful with beautiful views. Perfect for watching the sunset. We weren’t bothered once either.
Disliked: - the big dogs would bark every time you went to the toilet area, it made me jump every time and I was worried they would wake the other campers up.
- it was quite late when we got there due to working and traffic, so we were putting are tent up when it was nearly dark. Because it was dark, we missed the sign near the gate saying do not pitch up until you’ve rung to say you’re there (apologies that we missed this) especially as we’re getting into the darker months, it might be worth adding a note to the actual bookings or putting a bigger sign so people don’t miss this again as I didn’t spot it until the next day and was worrying about it.

Liked: We liked the set up, not many pitches, quiet and friendly, everything they said it was, I can’t understand why people who complain, you are CAMPING in the hills, yes it was windy, yes it was raining, limited Wi-Fi, but you are cam, want the luxury of home, stay home, we enjoyed the experience

Liked: I really lovely quite site. Lots of animals around to see and beautiful views. A lovely warm shower and the owner made sure we were able to park both our vans together despite only one of us having an electric hook up. There was a really lovely atmosphere on site as well which was in no way crowded.
Disliked: The locks on the toilets were a little difficult to lock and unlock.
