If you love being out in nature, but also enjoy your creature comforts when on holiday, the adults-only glampsite at Dan Y Ser Glamping combines the best of both worlds for you. Set in a peaceful wildflower meadow and surrounded by trees, the site’s luxury bell tents have another trick up their metaphorical sleeves – with transparent roof panels above the beds, they are intended for star gazing under the dark skies of Powys in Mid Wales. Set 10 minutes’ drive from Llanidloes takeaways and pubs, this peaceful glampsite offers everything you need for a seamless experience under canvas: inside each tent is a proper double bed along with storage space, cosy rugs and all quality bedding is provided. Outdoor space includes a fully equipped camping kitchen and tip-top private bathrooms steps away from your bed, as well as a garden with picnic seating and a firepit for barbecues. Hot tubs come as part of the deal as well – where better for soaking up starlit skies on clear nights? To add to the luxury vibe, breakfast (continental or the full Welsh cooked version) hampers can be ordered from the site owners for an additional charge– and you can really spice up your mornings by adding Champagne or gin to your booty too.
