Liked: Location is beautiful, large pitches with plenty space between, water close by, electric hook ups near at hand.
All rubbish can be recycled, chemical disposal and grey water disposal at toilet block.
Small eco toilet block with two wc/wet rooms.
Will definitely be back.
Disliked: No problems.

Liked: Location is superb, the estate grounds are beautiful and Berwick is just a short bus ride away.
Disliked: OK, I could say that the toilet situation isn't the best but they don't state that they have toilets so I can't really complain about that.

Liked: The peace and quiet. The birdsong. The beautiful surroundings and walks along the Tweed. Drive over drain good. Very easy to get to from A1.
The boat trip was lovely.
Disliked: The lack of signage and information, especially for booking in. No warden or staff around, no emergency contact numbers.
The confusion about whether or not there is a toilet block. There are two but one continues to be closed. They do not seem to be regularly cleaned and there is no soap, hand drying, or toilet brush.
The pipe from the water tap is damaged and squirts water out.

Disliked: Nothing to dislike

Liked: We love Paxton house and been several times. On this occasion, we were disappointed by selfish inconsiderate customers who had 1 caravan and two campers on three pitches spread across the area. They had no consideration for pitch privacy and had three children who pulled the water pipe sign off (stuck back on) pulled a tree support pole up and waved this all around the site including near our MH on our pitch and threw frizzbies. They also have three dogs a bull mastiff, schnauzer and a.n.other who were allowed off their leads and dispersing their toilet habits and chasing the children up by our pitch instead of their own. They BBQ'd on the grass leaving a huge burnt out are on their pitch and created a racket running around our pitch until late at night. Totally spoiled our normal lovely visit!
I'm all for the children enjoying themselves which i'm sure they did but when disturbing others on the park and on other pitches not claimed by themselves as well as damaging small growth trees on the site - There was no one to report to and express our dissatisfaction. The parents and grand parents appeared inconsiderate with nil responsibility and thought for the owners site or other customers.
NB: 1 toilet and shower closed reportedly out of order and the toilet waste pipe is broken and needs replacing.
Truly a lovely site but our stay was spoilt on this visit and no number to call o report the issues for resolve.
