Liked: Very clean and well organised campsite. Everyone was very friendly and keen to ensure we had a pleasant stay! The toilets were portaloos, at first I was worried, but they were always kept clean and tidy and the showers were a little basic, would be nice if there were some hooks to hang clothes/towels etc. But in all we had a brilliant stay.

Liked: Location was good. Quiet. Good sized pitches
Disliked: Toilets were just portaloos, showers - dreadful, no hot water for pot wash.
Fishing lake leaves a lot to be desired.

Liked: If you enjoy chaos and confusion this is the place for you!
Disliked: On arrival we where met by a site warden with dogs lurching and barking at me, the first impression wasnt great. Part of our pitch was occluded by a commercial vehicle from a tented camp. Due to the closeness, we where kept awake by music and normal chatting in neighbouring tents. In terms of health and safety there was no formal pitch areas so the site was a fire risk, exasperated by open fires around the site. The one way system was totally ignored with no speed limits. It was also hard to walk our dog with the amount of dogs off lead. In terms of facilities, in all my years these where the worst experienced, for example grey waste points sharing fresh water points. The dish washing area had no hot water, the Elsan point was makeshift and the toilets and showers where disgusting.
It's really sad because this site has so much potential.

Liked: Big, nice grassy pitches with electric hook-ups.
Quiet area with a farm (with a pair of donkeys, some hens, and a cockerel) next door.
Lovely café on site.
Nice and friendly owners and people who work in the café.
Dog-friendly.
Nice lake for fishing and walking around.
There’s a pavement on the road, so you can walk to the pub (20 minutes).
Pretty close to the seaside.
Disliked: The site opened only a few months ago, so it is still a work in progress.
Currently, there are no toilets, only portaloos (make sure you have your own light and toilet roll when you go at night).
Showers are okay, with warm water, but no regulated height, and nowhere to put your stuff (you can only hang them over the shower curtain rail).
There was no hot water for washing up pots.

Liked: I requested a quieter area due to my son being autistic and the owners were brilliant at sorting this for us. The facilities were basic but they were kept absolutely spotless. Staff were super helpful when we realised we had forgot our mallet and let us borrow one. Staff were also constantly coming around the site to make sure everything was ok and were all super friendly. My kids also loved the donkeys. We had an absolutely brilliant stay and didn’t want to leave. Even the dog cried when we left.
Disliked: Absolutely nothing. We’ll definitely be booking again.

Liked: Lovely cafe. Bev was lovely and made us feel welcome and relaxed. Great site and lovely cafe.
Disliked: Nothing. We generally had a great time for 5 days. No wifi we were aware of but we had our own in the caravan so we can't complain about it as didnt need it. We had full signal though which is unlike a lot of other places.
