Δεν μου άρεσε: Thought was expensive for dogs as they don't really use anything at £2 pound aday which puts the price of the pitch up especially if more than one dog toilets kept not flushing but owner had got someone coming out to them didn't like the fact of kids playing football and cricket behind the pitch most of the day was like a school play ground untill they went bed so not peaceful perhaps if they had a area for them to play I would pick a edge pitch next time knowing this is what happens

Thankfully the toilets are all flushing correctly again!
Regarding dogs, I do charge for them, I think in your case with 5 dogs it was a little unusual.
Kids playing is part of the camping fun, I'm sorry if they caused you problems. As you said, pitch selection is useful.

Μου άρεσε: Shower and toilet facilities were nice and modern and a nice spacious place to change with the showers.

Δεν μου άρεσε: Nothing on the site, however exit to the road was a bit of a challenge due to hedges and unable to see well, maybe a mirror opposite might make this easier and safer.

The exit can be a bit tricky.
The hedges have been cut now.
Unfortunately out local council do not allow me to put a mirror opposite

Felt very reassured the caravan was safe on site due to security measures

Δεν μου άρεσε: The biggest disappointment was that we were charged for the electric we used the owner said that she charges the electric at 50 pence per kilowatt hour £5 lasted us from 3 o'clock in the afternoon until 8:05 the next morning this should definitely be stated on the website before booking we found out the day before via email and we wanted to cancel but you're unable to cancel a week before the arrival.
The only bin was full and we were unable to close the lid.
The grass was in need of cutting not good when you're on a grass pitch

You are correct, I do now charge for electric at 50p pkh . Due to the concerns of several guests, I now offer £2 per night free of charge. It is stated in the Ts and Cs that I charge for electric.

The bin was full and replaced with another receptacle.

The grass was cut before the weekend and will be cut again today (Tuesday) I never cut grass at weekends when the site is busy.

Μου άρεσε: Spacious pitches and quiet site.

Δεν μου άρεσε: Thought it was a little expensive for what was on site. The toilet/showers were relatively new and spotless but were a bit lacking, could of done with a few more toilets/shower cubicles and hand basins. Biggest grumble was paying extra on a top up for electricity (would have expected that in the price for pitch).

I am sorry you found my site 'lacking'. The toilet block was built to the requirements set out in planning and actually has slightly more toilets and showers than recommended in the regulations.

Regarding the electricity, you will have noticed the cost of the electricity that you used is high. This is precisely the reason for installing the meters. Unfortunately costs continue to rise and this is why I installed the meters. I would think a lot of sites will no be thinking about doing this, if they have not already.

Δεν μου άρεσε: Male toilet block only had 2 toilets and 2 showers which if the site had been busy wouldn't have been enough. The heating in the toilet block wasn't on so was rather chilly but the actual showers had very hot water, perhaps a bit too hot. Basic facilities for the price per night especially considering they are soon to be charging extra for electric. On the point of electric this kept going off for a couple of seconds every 10 mins so anything running at the time would switch off. When we messaged the site to get rectified we were told "try a different socket if that doesn't work your caravan must be faulty". Definitely not our van or our neighbours or the other people's we spoke to on site who all had the same fault.

You are correct, the male toilet has 2 toilets and 2 showers. This is well within the recommended number for the pitches available, during busy periods this has not been a problem.

The heating is set on a frost stat, and will only come on if the temperature drops to near freezing.

As I had just had all the electrics tested, I suggested to try another post. As I had no further feed back from this customer I assumed all was well.

I always like to meet each new arrival if possible and then like to leave people alone to enjoy their holiday. As always, if customers don't tell me of any problems I can't do anything about them.

I am sorry you felt the need to rate my site so poorly.

Δεν μου άρεσε: Had to wait 40 minutes at gate as both the numbers suppled to gain access weren’t being answered. Needs a loo brush in toilets, I’m not a fan of looking at other peoples deposits smeared down the pan. Showers need some sort of heat control and it would be good if the heaters in the toilet/ shower blocks were turned on. Over the long weekend we were there the power kept on going off and on every 10 minutes and have spoke to others on the site they were having the same problem.

I can only apologise for the wait, it has only happened once before. Some networks just don't connect.

I will not put loo brushes in the toilets due to previous experience - brushes left filthy covered in toilet paper, thrown on the site etc etc

The radiators in the shower block are frost stat set only. The cost is too prohibitive, and would ultimately involve a price rise in pitch fees.

The later comments could have been resolved had you only informed me of the issue.

Μου άρεσε: Took our new to us caravan here for our first outing in it as close to home. Spotless site, with plenty of water points, large pitches with plenty of space between them. Toilet block was very clean and modern, showers were nice and hot. Very peaceful site no complaints here!
