  • Outdoor kitchen and modern shower room; pub 10 minutes’ walk
No busy campsite. No kids running about. No need to bring a whole car full of gear with you. Sounds tempting? Adults-only Hill View Camping may be the very spot for you. At 15 minutes’ drive from Cranbrook in Kent, this bijou pop-up glamping spot has just a brace of fully furnished bell tents at your disposal. Everything you need is supplied in each tent, from quality linens on the king-size bed to the outdoor kitchen, and a modern bathroom with reliably hot water in the shower is part of the deal too. It’s easy to park and just a short hop to the camping meadow on foot, and once you’ve settled into your tent, you have all the time in the world to absorb the 360-degree views of rural Kent’s spectacular Rother Valley in total peace. Barbecues are allowed, and you can pick up provisions for the grill from shops in Cranbrook or Ashford (15 minutes’ drive). If you’re not a fan of alfresco cooking, there’s a pub 10 minutes’ walk away across the fields in Newenden.
